Los Angeles Loses Ken Frederick Friday, August 2nd , 1974 Ken Frederick of the Los Angeles Blockbusters was injured in today's game against Milwaukee and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a strained shoulder, and he is expected to be out for up to 6 weeks. It happened while Frederick was throwing the ball. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Frederick is batting .301 this year with 16 home runs, 62 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has 110 hits in 365 at-bats. |
