Blockbusters Ernie Ronnebaum Wins NBL Award Monday, August 5th , 1974 When it came to hitting the baseball, Ernie Ronnebaum had few peers in the National Baseball League this past week. The talented left fielder for Los Angeles tagged opposing pitchers for a .400 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 4 homers, 6 runs scored and 10 RBIs. So far on the season, Ronnebaum is hitting .342 with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 39 hits and played in 50 games. |
