NBL's Best Player, Katzen of Los Angeles Monday, June 23rd , 1975 It was an extraordinary week for Harvey Katzen of the Los Angeles Blockbusters. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .542, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the National Baseball League. Last week Katzen went 13-for-24, racked up no home runs and 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Los Angeles first baseman.
