Eagles Kingery Suffers Setback Thursday, June 26th , 1975 Eagles closer Richie Kingery has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation for a herniated disc. He was expected to finish treatment soon and rejoin the team slightly ahead of schedule. Doctors reevaluated him after he felt severe pain in a recent workout. The preliminary examination revealed more damage and is worse than the first injury. Anonymous sources in Washington told BNN Richie Kingery would be absent from the roster quite a bit longer than originally diagnosed. He would now have to miss at least 6-7 weeks. |
