Philadelphia, Cleveland Agree to Swap Monday, July 18th , 1977 It has been in the rumor mill for several weeks, but today team officials for Philadelphia and Cleveland confirmed an agreement. The Quakers dealt 31-year old LHP John Stoddard to the Bobcats for 22-year old RHP Jimmie Sturgess. To this point in the season Stoddard has 6 wins and 6 losses and a 3.93 ERA. |
