Setback for Wolverines and Troy Stallings
Saturday, July 19th , 1975
The Detroit Wolverines plan to take it slow with first baseman Troy Stallings, knowing that his recovery from a bruised knee would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "Troy has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about one week before he can be activated."
So far this year in 88 games, Stallings is hitting .294 with 8 home runs, 37 RBIs and 42 runs scored.
