Big Month for ABL Rookie Monday, August 1st , 1977 Jim Thorman's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Twin Cities shortstop has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .333 with 2 doubles, 2 triples and 3 home runs. Thorman also scored 17 times and drove in 6 runs. Batting .307 to date, Thorman has 8 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
