On the day, the right-handed Summers yielded 7 hits and tallied 4 strikeouts with 1 walk.

Summers has started 17 times this year, pitched 123 innings, fanned 57 batters and walked 37. His current record is 7 wins and 7 losses with a 3.44 ERA.
