Players-Only Meeting 'Didn't Work': Hembree Sunday, July 27th , 1975 John Hembree of the Cincinnati Packers said a recent players-only meeting held by Lee McGee "didn't work" and may have been more of a distraction than anything. "We know we're not playing good baseball right now, we don't need to hear it from one of the players," he said. "I know McGee means well, but I think there are probably some guys who are more upset now than they were before we had that meeting." |
