Amos Wins ABL Player of the Week Honors Monday, September 18th , 1967 Richie Amos went on a week-long hitting spree against American Baseball League pitchers and captured the Player of the Week honors. The San Francisco right fielder battered the opposition for 11 hits, 1 home run, 5 RBI and scored 3 runs. He hit .579 and posted a .600 on-base percentage. Thus far this year Amos has hit .264 with 10 home runs and 50 RBIs. |
