Brooklyn Shuts Out Washington Behind Richardson, 8-0

Brooklyn Bluebirds hurler Jackie Richardson logged a 4-hit, complete game shutout over the Eagles, stopping them 8-0 at Monument Field today.
"I felt great out there," Richardson said in his postgame interview. "After the second or third inning, I got real comfortable. Hopefully this is a building block for me. I'd love a few more starts like this."
He rung up 2 strikeouts and gave up 2 walks in the performance.
Checking out his stats for the season, Richardson has racked up 10 wins and 16 losses in 29 starts, posted a 3.11 ERA, and struck out 104 batters in 211.1 innings.
