Chavez Signs 4-Year Extension with Pittsburgh Monday, August 4th , 1975 Team officials were upbeat today as Carlos Chavez signed an extension with the Industrials. He'll be calling Pittsburgh home for the next 4 years and will earn $2,400,000 in salary by the end of the contract. The Industrials GM said, "We're excited to know he'll be part of this team going forward. This is a good day for him, and we believe it makes the future for us better." Chavez is currently hitting .301 with 5 home runsand 46 RBIs, while scoring 69 runs. |
