Los Angeles Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Saturday, September 23rd , 1967 While they stayed relevant late into the season, there will be no postseason berth for the Los Angeles Blockbusters. The club today was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. The Blockbusters have missed the playoffs 21 times in their 22 years as a Major League Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1962. In the last 10 seasons, the Blockbusters have only made the playoffs once. |
