Postseason Bid Ends for Denver Tuesday, September 26th , 1967 Postseason baseball won't be coming to Denver this year. The quest for the playoffs ended for the Denver Burros today, as they were mathematically eliminated from contention. "Not the first time I've experienced this," said Burros manager Clark Anderson, "but it never gets fun." The Burros are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team also missed qualifying for the postseason last season. |
