Star of the Week Selected in ABL Monday, August 22nd , 1977 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Atlanta's Ed Mika put up last week were the envy of the league, as Mika came away with American Baseball League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 home runs and 11 RBIs last week as he posted his .522 batting average. Mika is currently batting .305 with 32 home runs and 90 RBIs. |
