No Late-Season Magic Coming: Milwaukee Out of Playoffs
Wednesday, September 27th , 1967
The Milwaukee Dairymen may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in Major League Baseball. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today.
"I feel like we have a great group," Dairymen manager Brandon Dudley said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season."
The Dairymen are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 12 seasons in the MLB.
