Pobladores Shut Out by Charrette, 3-0 Wednesday, September 14th , 1960
The Chicago Hawks posted a 3-0 shutout over the Los Angeles Pobladores today on the strength of a strong performance by Al Charrette. The Hawks pitcher held the Pobladores to 6 hits while walking 3 and fanning 3 in the route-going win.
"It feels good to be wearing a Chicago Hawks uniform today," the right-hander said following the game.
In 31 starts this season Charrette has crafted a 17-9 record with a 2.70 ERA.
