Robinson Voted September's Rookie Trophy Sunday, October 1st , 1967 Jamie Robinson's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Denver third baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .330 with 4 doubles, no triples and 7 home runs. Robinson also scored 14 times and drove in 23 runs. In 145 games this year Robinson has posted a .266 average and put up these numbers: 17 home runs, 53 RBIs and 54 runs scored. |
