ABL's Best Batter Picked Thursday, September 1st , 1977 Ed Hudson, the Montreal third baseman, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .301 batting average with 31 hits, 15 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 27 times. That kind of hitting earned him the American Baseball League Batter of the Month honors for August. Batting .344 to date, Hudson has 45 home runs and 106 RBIs. |
