He excelled with a 5-0 mark and a 1.83 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 39.1 innings, fanned 20, and held enemy hitters to a .184 average. That's why the Explorers star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the National Baseball League. On the season, Gilson has a 11-9 record with a 2.86 ERA. |
