Rehab Setback for Paul McCarthy Sunday, August 17th , 1975 The Los Angeles Pobladores announced today that Paul McCarthy would be missing for longer than expected as the 30-year-old left fielder recovers from a fractured finger. "Paul had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Pobladores GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that McCarthy would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is 3 months more recovery time." Paul McCarthy is expected to undergo surgery in Los Angeles(California) tomorrow. This season, McCarthy is batting .289 with 4 home runs. He has scored 31 runs and driven in 24. |
