Sunday, August 17th , 1975
In a seemingly effortless performance, Barry Gilmore of the Dallas Wranglers shot down the Los Angeles Pobladores, 6-0, on 5 hits.
"Barry was just locating so well and using his pitches," Dallas manager William Albrecht said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Gilmore recorded 8 strikeouts and 4 walks in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Los Angeles manager Kurt Peterson said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
For this year, Gilmore has chalked up 17 wins and 5 losses in 28 starts with 152 strikeouts in 203.1 innings and a 2.61 ERA.
