Ramirez Holds St. Louis Scoreless

Juan Ramirez was dynamite at Quakers Stadium, blowing away the St. Louis Explorers in a shutout victory. The Philadelphia Quakers starter had everything working as he held the Explorers to 6 hits in the 5-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said St. Louis skipper Ray Fleetwood. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Ramirez finished the game with 3 strikeouts and 3 walks.
