Traders Star Earns NBL Bat Title

Ken Frederick was born to be a ballplayer.
"Pops always said I learned to swing a bat before I learned to walk."
Frederick, the 29-year-old Chicago first baseman, really displayed his hitting ability this past season.
His .362 batting average led all National Baseball League hitters. He collected 169 hits, socked 22 home runs, scored 89 runs and drove in 79 runs. The NBL's top batter also played in 125 games, had 46 doubles, 5 triples and walked 60 times.
