Cincinnati Won't Make Playoffs Wednesday, September 10th , 1975 There will certainly be no championship parade for the Cincinnati Packers this season. They were already on the outside looking in for the playoff chase, but the club was officially eliminated from contention today. Cincinnati last appeared in the postseason in 1969. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 77 times in their 94-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Packers have only made the playoffs once. Cincinnati last won the World Series in 1961. |
