Pobladores Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 11th , 1975 It's back to the drawing board for the Los Angeles Pobladores. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Pobladores have made the playoffs 5 times in their 30 years as a Major League Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1972. In the last 10 seasons, the Pobladores have only made the playoffs once. Los Angeles last won the World Series in 1957. |
