Frost on a Hot Streak, ABL Player of the Week Monday, September 15th , 1975 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jackie Frost was in a class by himself in the American Baseball League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding center fielder for Houston tagged opposing pitchers for a .591 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 homers, 6 runs scored and 7 RBIs. This year, Frost has 12 home runs and a .299 batting average. |
