Cooper on a Tear, Hits for Cycle

Brooklyn Bluebirds center fielder Jackie Cooper had one of the best days of his career, when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the 7-5 Bluebirds win over the New York Knickerbockers at Knickerbocker Stadium.
"Everything was just clicking today," he said.
Cooper shelled the Knickerbockers for 6 hits in 7 at-bats, collected 2 runs batted in and scored 2 runs.
Jackie Cooper singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 10th, hit a solo-shot off Dave Torre in the 12th and tripled in the 14th.
For the season, Cooper has produced 212 hits in 567 at-bats for a .374 average with 17 home runs and gotten on base at a .422 clip.
