Hudson's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Monday, October 10th , 1977 The Montreal Habitants received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Ed Hudson would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Hudson, who is currently out with a sprained ankle, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 27-year-old third baseman will have to spend another one week in treatment. This year, Hudson has 48 home runs and a .349 batting average. |
