Dairymen Archie Sereni Will Miss Season

The season is ending on a bad note for Archie Sereni, closer for the Milwaukee Dairymen. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Sereni was hurt against the San Diego Captains while throwing a pitch. He suffered a strained elbow and will be out for at least 7-8 weeks.

This season, Sereni has recorded a 5-7 won-lost mark, pitched in 51 relief appearances and rung up 21 saves. He has a 3.87 ERA and has allowed 81 hits over his 76.2 innings of work, struck out 58 batters and walked 18.
