ABL's Top Player Named Monday, September 22nd , 1975 It was an extraordinary week for Ed Mika of the Atlanta Generals. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .545, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American Baseball League. Last week Mika went 12-for-22, racked up 2 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Atlanta first baseman. Currently Mika is batting .273 with 23 home runs and 62 RBIs. |
