Brooklyn Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Monday, September 22nd , 1975 The Brooklyn Bluebirds will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 1975 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Brooklyn was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 7th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1968. In total, the Bluebirds have missed the playoffs 78 times in their 93-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Bluebirds have only made the playoffs once. Brooklyn last won the World Series in 1929. |
