To the fan of the perennial loser, it's a time to moan again about their team's misfortune. To the fan whose club defines success by the number of World Series championship trophies lining their clubhouse walls, anything short of the ultimate victory is a disaster. This is playoff baseball. Baseball lovers can't help but be consumed by it in some way or another. There is nothing better than playoff baseball.
