RF Patterson Signs New Pact with New York Friday, November 24th , 1967 Veteran right fielder Stan Patterson put the finishing touches on a deal with the Empires today, agreeing to a $680,000, 2-year pact. Fans were generally receptive to the deal. Looking at his career numbers, Patterson has played in 2118 games with a .303 batting average. Among his 2359 hits are 399 doubles, 99 triples and 301 home runs. He has also scored 1367 runs and driven in 1215 runs. |
