Luna Selected ABL Player of the Week Monday, September 4th , 1972 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Jorge Luna was rewarded with the American Baseball League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Toronto Hurons center fielder hit .478 while collecting 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. Luna is currently batting .291 with 26 home runs and 77 RBIs. |
