NBL's #1 Player Named Monday, August 26th , 1974 Chicago sports fans can't stop singing the praises of Tim Rathbone, who has been selected the National Baseball League Player of the Week. Rathbone was in a comfort zone all week, finishing with a .647 average (11-for-17), 3 RBIs and no home runs. Thus far this year, Rathbone is batting .331 with no home runs, 15 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
