NBL's Best Player for 1976 Named

Kansas City's Chris Taylor put the wraps on a fine campaign today by winning the 1976 National Baseball League Most Valuable Player Award.
The 27-year-old veteran scorched the opposition with a .359 average, picking up 199 hits, 28 doubles, 9 triples, 37 home runs and 114 RBIs, while scoring 116 runs.
Guillaume Moret of the Denver Burros finished second in voting, while Rafael Fuentes of the Chicago Traders finished third.
