CF Bitting Extends Stay in Denver Saturday, October 30th , 1976 Denver officials and Jim Bitting shook hands on a $712,000 deal today. The extension will keep Bitting from becoming a free agent for at least 2 years. His all-time numbers show Bitting is carrying a .292 career batting average with 29 home runs and 349 RBIs. |
