Hurons Tommy Lloyd Will Miss Season Sunday, September 1st , 1974 Tommy Lloyd has to call it a season. The Toronto Hurons starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the San Francisco Seagulls and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Lloyd was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 7-8 months. On the season, Lloyd has a 9-10 record with a 3.50 ERA. |
