Boston Out of Playoff Race Monday, September 16th , 1974 There will certainly be no championship parade for the Boston Terriers this season. They were already on the outside looking in for the playoff chase, but the club was officially eliminated from contention today. Boston last appeared in the postseason in 1968. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 90 times in their 99-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Terriers have missed the playoffs 7 times. Boston has won the World Series 4 times in their history. |
