New York Loses Jack Pratt Wednesday, September 25th , 1974 Doctors in New York said Jack Pratt might not play anymore this year. The Empires closer suffered a sore shoulder during a game against the Atlanta Generals and will be out for at least 5 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. Thus far this year, Pratt has picked up 23 saves. He has also compiled a 6-7 won-lost mark with a 3.56 ERA and in 93.2 innings fanned 72. |
