Bad News for Los Angeles, Ronnebaum Injured Saturday, September 28th , 1974 The season is finished for Ernie Ronnebaum of the Los Angeles Blockbusters. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Blockbusters left fielder suffered a torn leg muscle while running the bases in a recent game against the Chicago Traders. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 weeks to heal. Thus far this year, Ronnebaum is batting .297 with 22 home runs, 51 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
