Injury Setback for Burros Landa Sunday, October 20th , 1974 Things have gotten worse for Armando Landa of the Denver Burros. The 40-year-old first baseman will not be back as soon as originally expected. Landa is undergoing treatment for back spasms, but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least 2 weeks. An unidentified team official told BNN, "Armando tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback." So far this year, Landa has hit .208 with 12 home runs, 46 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
