More Woes for Eagles Alan Cassill

First Alan Cassill got hurt and suffered a broken bone in his hand. Now he is going to miss even more games. Treatment was going well until yesterday when the Eagles right fielder overextended himself in a workout and suffered a setback. The Washington medical staff have now revised his recovery time to at least 2-3 months.
Alan Cassill is expected to undergo surgery in Washington(District of Columbia) tomorrow.
This season, Cassill has banged out 151 hits in 585 at-bats for a .258 average with 10 home runs. He is getting on base at a .348 pace and his totals also include 46 RBIs and 96 runs scored.
