Cleveland Wins League Championship Series

The sweet swing of Benito Olivas has led his team through the League Championship Series.

The Cleveland Bobcats star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Pittsburgh Industrials to advance to the World Series.

The Bobcats won the final game at Allegheny Field by a score of 4-2 and the series 4-3.

"I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Olivas. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs."

For the series, Olivas hit .286 with a .355 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Cleveland Bobcats will play against the Dallas Wranglers in the next round. Dallas won their series against the Houston Drillers 4 games to 3. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
