This past season was very special for Jeff Munoz of the Pittsburgh Industrials. He picked up 14 wins against only 11 losses and was chosen the winner of the 1975 National Baseball League Royal Ricketts Award.

The 31-year-old Industrials ace fashioned a fine 2.55 ERA in 33 starts. He threw 246.2 innings, gave up 201 hits, 55 walks and held opponents to a .220 average. Munoz fanned 121 batters this season.

Bobby Peters of the Chicago Traders finished second in voting, while Ray Heath of the San Diego Captains finished third.
