Clement Rocks Pobladores for 3 HRs

Greg Clement went yard three times in a Twin Cities Northmen victory over the Los Angeles Pobladores at Twin Cities Stadium.
"I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit."
For the day, the Twin Cities left fielder went 4-for-5 against Los Angeles with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Northmen to the 6-0 win.
"I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out."
Greg Clement hit a solo-shot off Pete Betzel in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Pete Betzel in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Ricardo Rivera in the 5th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
Clement is hitting .287 this year with 17 home runs, 57 RBIs and 96 runs scored. He has 168 hits in 586 at-bats, 100 walks and a .392 on-base percentage. Clement has played in 154 games.
