Monday, November 3rd , 1975
After prolonged negotiations Los Angeles agreed to ship 30-year old LHP Dave Young to Dallas for 28-year old RF Roger McCoy. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups.

"It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen."

Young has compiled a 52-41 career mark, pitched in 394 games, been credited with 69 saves and posted a 2.86 ERA. He has 542 strikeouts in 724.2 innings pitched.

Lifetime McCoy has played in 890 games, batted .277 with 78 home runs and 782 base hits.
