Gilmore Takes Home ABL Royal Ricketts Award

This year, the top vote-getter for the 1974 Royal Ricketts Award was Barry Gilmore of the Dallas Wranglers, who finished with an outstanding 20-5 mark and an impressive 1.96 ERA.
In his award-winning season, the 32-year-old Wranglers star hurled 284.2 innings, chalking up 266 strikeouts and 95 walks, and limited hitters to a .193 batting average.
Larry Diego of the Baltimore Lords finished second in voting, while Tim Stambaugh of the San Francisco Seagulls finished third.
