Drillers-Industrials Swap: Nall for Zaruba Monday, March 8th , 1976 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Houston and Pittsburgh have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 23-year old RHP Joe Nall to the Industrials with 29-year old RHP Jerry Zaruba joining the Drillers. Houston general manager Tom Harrington would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. So far in his career, the 29-year-old Zaruba has put up a 3.27 ERA with 135 wins and 86 losses. |
