Denver, San Diego Make Trade Monday, March 8th , 1976 Acknowledging that it may not be the biggest splash, the Burros announced today that they have acquired 30-year old RF Ron Roe from the San Diego Captains in exchange for a 2nd round draft pick. "Every little bit helps," announced the Burros, "this deal should improve both squads." San Diego will retain a portion of Roe's remaining contract. Roe has hit for a .248 career average and totaled 1139 hits, 57 home runs and 452 RBIs. |
