3-Year Extension for Wells Saturday, November 9th , 1974 Reports began circulating several days ago that Mike Wells would re-sign with the Drillers, but didn't materialize until today when the club officially confirmed BNN's reports. Details were sketchy, though Houston did say Wells would be with the club 3 years beyond his current deal. Wells has batted .267 for his career with 749 hits, 154 doubles, 7 triples, 98 home runs, and 417 RBIs. |
